Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181490xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with some wide-scope telemarketing call centre, reported with PPI, insuarance marketing, loans/debts, energy schemes. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
Recorded msg saying they were HMRC and that I should press to speak with my case handler. This is obviously a scam
I didn't answer but after researching this number on other sites it has plenty of negative remarks. So I've blocked it.
