Called by lady claiming she was from BT. Wanted me to reset my I/p address. Claimed someone was trying to log onto my network. Was willing to talk me through settings. Said I knew how to do it. She hung up
I have four calls this morning 2 numbers I did not managed to log, the third was a private number. This one I logged. Each call is telling me they are calling me from Sky, none are native English speakers, telling me I have a problems with my internet connection, which I do not, being an IT consultant I think I am in a good position to know. When I tell them my credentials they hang up. Going to speak to sky and pass all the information on. First caller did ask if I could hear him.
Found out from another site that it s someone trying to get personal details.

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. JTM called to make an appointment and I missed the call. I had complaoned that hey had not called me previously. you cannot call them back as they answer and ask how they can help but as soon as you say anything they pretend they cannot hear you and put the phone down I have now tried from 3 different phones and am very annoyed.

Asks you to press 1 and threatens that if you don't a 'warrant' for your arrest will be issued right away. If anyone who is involved in these types of SCAMS read this - I hope you realise that you are a massive CUNT.

These are fraudulent calls
Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.

They called me today and asked for me by my first name to sell me a life insurance policy. When I asked them where did you get my contact details, they answered that it was from their search engine as I expressed my interest in such a policy in the past. I challenged them that I did t supply my information to be called for a life insurance product then she asked me if I have a family and how old I am. I declined to answer and then ended the call.
Probably call centre as when I picked it up they rang off. So annoying.

SCAM Message says that your internet and phone connection is going to be cut off, to stop it press 1, press 2 to go along with disconnection. Getting 3 or 4 of these a day, a different number each time but all 0161 numbers.
