Received a text message pretending to be from WhatsApp. Apparently my number was going to be transferred in 24 hours. They gave me the option to call a Premium Rate phone number to query it. The number given was 0902 394 1410. I checked Who-Called.co.uk for info and found lots of people were being scammed with very similar numbers. DO NOT RING THIS NUMBER! Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 20328926xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with classical PPI claims - insurance marketing calls, mostly unsolicited. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back.
