Keeps calling my mobile - never leaves a message! Please just go away!

I keep getting a call from an 01243 923885 and when I answer their is no one their and if I try calling it back it does not ring or do anything

On answering phone, caller launches into a pre-recorded talk. Doesn t respond to "Hello, who s calling?". very rude. Had this twice this week. Replaced receiver both times.1471 told me it was 01600469009

Criminals who call TPS registered numbers, Indian voice. Clearly have personal info about accidents and trying to progress personal injury claims. Cut the line when asked company name. NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND PROSECUTED, IDEALLY WITH VIOLENCE.

Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account
