SCAM - bank fraud.
SCAM This is a scam operation. An older lady calls to tell you that they have confirmed advertising space in local hospital/ school publication. These publications don't exist. They invoice and use factoring companies. We were stung for around £250 previously. Not heard from them in a couple of years so they've obviously started up again. Just hang up.

This number called my mobile. I ignored it as number I did not recognise and they did not leave a message. I have not disclosed my mobile number to anyone I do not know. I suspect that they are dialling numbers to see if they get a response and that it is a computer dialling the number. If there is no response within a certain time it dials the next.

Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. When I the call, I called it back as I was expecting a call from another company and thought it might be them. It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance. Dodgy how they've somehow ended up with my info.

Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). The call is a scam designed to illicit bank details for a new phone contract. I would urge everyone to block this number and not give them any info at all.
