This was an automated call suggesting tax fraud and possible imprisonment. Do not respond to these scammers.

Call from man with Indian accent - "your contract with Three is coming to an end". Me: "could you remind me of the number" - "the what?" - "the contract number" and he hung up. I think it's fair to say he was up to no good. And judging by the street view below, the number is likely spoofed as I can't see a boiler room operation going on in a highland village.

Immediate hang up as soon I pick up the call... do not call back!!

A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.

Call centre noise in background. Caller asked for "Mr or Mrs *my surname*" I asked who's calling, she said they're caling about the Health & Safety check for the loft insulation. Complete fiction. I told them they had the wrong number and to remove it from their system. Obvious data phishing scam.

SPAM After phoning me several times a day, every single day for a week, I finally picked up. Nobody spoke after I said "Hello" several times. I could hear background noise, and foreign language speakers chatting in the background. Highly likely a scam, just auto dialling a list of numbers in their database.

He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.

This is a recorded message saying that 2 transactions have been made on my account withdrawing around £1500. It's was obviously a scam so I just put the phone down. I often wonder what their mums think!
