Why are the elderly and vulnerable subjected to these scam callers. Why are they allowed to operate? is it because our corrupt government receive payback bonuses for allowing them to operate?
I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

Daily calls from this number with no one on the other end of the line. I've tried returning the call only to be met with an automated response that the number isn't receiving calls at the moment. SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

Just received a call from the number with automated female voice reporting "suspicious fraud transactions" from my bank account. It is a scam nothing more. Recommend blocking the call.
Very insistent woman claiming that I am due a payment because a 3rd party has admitted fault in a car accident in the past 12 months and I am due my excess back. Did not pursue the call but she effectively wanted me to complete a form over the phone and unwilling to send details in the post or elaborate on any information they hold about me. Could be phishing?
