I had a call from this number today claiming to be from the legal team at my insurance company LV about an accident id had in Dec where my car was written off. The man knew of my name, address, post code, the date of my crash, and he said that a company called ensure had made a payment to them to forward on to me, but I've never heard of them and never claimed for myself, just the cost of my veichle which was straight forward and all sorted weeks ago. As I grew suspicious and picked up on a few minor detail

I don't believe this is really MBNA, I believe it to be a scam and they have used a machine to copy the MBNA number. If this call is coming through on your mobile use a free app called Mr. Number, it will automatically block this and many other scam calls.
Chap with an Asian accent (Indian, Pakistani possibly). Knew my full name which concerned me. Said he was calling from "Credit Investigation Department" and that his records show I was currently paying off debts in my name (false).
