FrI was caught out by this today. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. They applied just enough pressure when the texts to change my account detail came in that I didn't have time to read them properly. Thankfully, I read them after the call and got straight on to O2 to change

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. SCAM Claims they are Resolvcall and need to speak to me "urgently". Haven't a clue why they're phoning but they phone constantly. Have now ended up having to block their calls and texts. They have even turned up at my door looking for someone who doesn't live at my address - have checked my credit rating and there is nothing in this.
A reverse number phone scam
I have received quite a few calls from this number. I decided to phone it back, and there was an automated computer voice (sounded a bit American) which said "I m sorry, an application error has occurred. Goodbye." Obviously a scam of some sort. I ve saved the number in my phone as Spam Caller , so I ll be sure not to answer it in future.

I have had this number call me about once a day for the last couple of weeks. Each time I answer the line goes dead. I m assuming its an auto dialer and there s no agent available to take my call when the line connects. I have now barred them on my phone. Time wasters.

This number called at 12.30am. Woke myself and husband thinking it was an emergency from a relation. Did not answer the call. No message was left.
