Automated call Purporting to be Barclays Bank reporting unusual spending on my account. Securely checked my account which has no such transactions.

The caller said my Sky and tv equipment insurance had expired. Don’t have any. When l asked what he wanted me to do he said renew it. I asked again for whom he was calling - repeated the above. Person called my house while I was at work. Spoke to my wife and stated he was our "television Provider" and needed to know our phone number, and billing information. When my wife asked him what television provider we had he answered "Comcast". We don't have Comcast we don't even have Cable. So this guy goes silent and then asked to speak with her Husband. Caller from this number claimed to be from EE network which was unbelievable due to thos callers total lack of professionalism and dreadful attitude. Obviously yet just another tedious no hoper trying to scam the vulnerable with all the brinkmanship, skill and dexterity of a toddler with a plastic sword. If this is the level our scammers are currently operating at, then we genuinely have very little to fear.

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.

Indian sounding gentleman called Mike from Housing Repair Scheme - at which point I hung up Fraud SCAM

Received a number of calls from this company claiming to be working with Convention Experts for a Show they didn’t know the name of and had the wrong company name. When asked who provided them our details they wasn’t able to answer. Just scam artists!!!

Said from Tenancy Helpline I said not interested .Then went on about Whether the property had any defects etc .I politely said no and said bye.
