The number called me and rang for some time which is a characteristic of spam calls. After checking on W C M I rang back the number but just went dead another characteristic of spam calls. If they ring again I will answer and update who it is using this number

Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Pretending to call from my bank about fraudulent transactions on my account, those transactions were taking from my account, someone had access to my card number, didn't ask me any security questions, just telling me my account issues, and didn't sound professional, was an English man, I hung up and phoned my real bank instead.Fraud
