Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?

calling to say I had been refunded £1600 from an all inclusive holiday I might have had in the past 3 years & wanted my email address, Didn't give it to him Tel number was 01945573712 ..... please beware

Recorded womans voice claiming to be from customs and excise threatening court action and saying the house was being watched! Seriously concerned for vulnerable people getting this call requesting a call back on the number given.

Fraud claimed to be a bank.. telling me to agree to a £600 transfer of monies.

I have been getting calls from this number and other numbers from same place, they are trying to sell you courses after they find your details on cv library or monster etc

Thanks helpful same experience as all the ones below and ask if. Sent my stuff back ppi I did yes and they keep asking so where did my info go and no progress but same question so will put it as below

Called my 94 yo father, claiming to be HMRC and accused him of defrauding taxman since 1952! Fortunately my dad is sharp as a pin & told them to go away and procreate. Calling the number back results in a diversion to a non UK ringing tone which does not answer.

Scam

Was given this number as the customer service number for telephone preference management. They rang me from 54 saying I had registered years ago for the service, and they were updating systems. They wanted me to confirm my expiry date was 2018 on my card f
