Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.
I rang them back saying I was outside the office on Tottenham Court Road for my meeting with Harry. They got confused and hung up on me.

Just had a call this morning from this number saying therey were from Virgin media and were calling because they were getting error messages from my router so they called to fix it. They wanted me to run some sort of Exe file. I called Virgin and they are not aware of this and said my router appears to be ok. Treat with extreme caution!

Computer generated voice stated she was calling on behalf of Terrace Advice Company. When I asked how to spell the name of the company, I got put through to a call centre (I suspect in India). When I asked for the company address so that I could report the
