Person on the phone told him he was calling from HMRC, quoted some references that sounded legit, including the details of an arrest warrant because of unpaid taxes... But then when he tried to ask questions, person on the phone became really aggressive... Which only wound my partner up and made him ask more questions. I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). Phoned to speak to my wife. Said there was a proublem with the account. Told him what a load of crap. Then phoned me back again to saythat her account is now blocked. Phoned k&co and there is nothing wrong. And they dont know who it was. Told the little t**t to f**k off. Be carfull about anawering security questions as they will use your account.

I received a call from this number today with a message that my master card had been used abroad for a £600 purchase. I was asked to press one to confirm payment. I terminated the call and phoned the number back to be told that the number did not exist. The person was female with a very clear voice and English accent.
'Matthew' (a mere recorded voice) called just now on this number, wanting to tell me something urgent & government related about the lagging installed in my loft. Yeah, right, it's a scam. I hung up.
