Scammer with automated message stating it was my bank.. Claimed a transfer of £600 had been blocked to western union and asking me to dial 1 to connect to an operator. I hung up as I don't even have £600 and checked with my online banking for any alerts. Nothing there.

This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.
Apparently going to help me save money on my bills. Scammers. Clues - Indian sounding person, call centre where you can barely hear what they are saying, when you ask them to repeat they say something different. I have a particularly loud whistle, they soon hang up...
TAXES / HMRC Suppposedly HMRC chasing unpaid tax. Completely false, they will not ring with this sort of message.

The operator said he worked for UK Debt Solutions, it was a bit difficult to understand him because of his Indian like accent and I was right next to some factories thrumming away. He was polite, he said he was part of a government scheme to reduce debt.and my details were on some sort of database, which is entirely possible. This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator.
