Received a woman’s voice message from Careline leaving a message for me by my first name. Stating I should phone back about my brother mentioned by his first name. Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. Has to make own enquiries to verify message was not a scam.

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

This number (07379 253353) is printer on stickers that have been stuck on people?s front doors without consent. When you attempt to peel the sticker off, it damages the paintwork. Received a call from this number appertaining to be from Amazon asking me to confirm/cancel a purchase of £99. When I said cancel she asked me what device i used so she could send me a cancellation form? I said i was away from my computer but she said she would wait on the line until I was in front of it. She quoted my correct address but I didn't feel happy so ended the call.
