I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... People please did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?

Second call in two days from this area code and it eventually traced back to INDIA!! I blocked that one and same with this one.

Called my 94 yo father, claiming to be HMRC and accused him of defrauding taxman since 1952! Fortunately my dad is sharp as a pin & told them to go away and procreate. Calling the number back results in a diversion to a non UK ringing tone which does not answer.

Wee mad indian gut kidding on he was calling from Eon in Manchester behind McDonlads?? Gave a random postcode when I asked for his address. Had wrong info on our Company and was unable to confirm details regarding our existing contract. Wanted to read through T and C's on the phone. He knew what a Baw Bag was which i didn't expect.

yet another call from this number firstly just after 8am on Saturday, then about 1 1/2 hours later - very strong foreign accent which was difficult to understand - oh no!! a problem with my internet - how dreadful !! - my response is to go with it and laug

Told the caller they were cold calling and they hung up. Then rang another 4 times on my mobile. My landline already has a block on it

Scam about national insurance fraud

Called this morning around 6.30am. My heart was racing being woken up to a landline number that only family members have. As I could see international call on caller display I did not answer and have blocked the number as I have that option on my Panasonic

was told by a woman just know that someone was trying to hack my internet she said they were from talk talk funny i said im not with your company the phone was abruptly put down on me must be a scam

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?

HMRC called twice on 1/2/18 I was aware of it being a scam as it was reported in the Sun Newspaper and on the news that day. I tried ring the fraud squad but after a lenghtly wait on the phone was unable to contact anyone.I had been scammed 6 months earlier by same people when I was in a bad place and so vunerable.
