Telemarketer with strong Indian accent.
Fraud - Claiming to be from Sky saying that i have a problem with my broadband - when challenged they hung up.
Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.
Claimed to be BT asking if I had payed my bill. I hung up.
SCAM / SPAM Not sure what to put this under, but they called me saying that I had a case at HMRC and said I would be arrested if I don't press one.
Number not recognised by bt... obviously a scammer faking a local number..

Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.
