Call from what sounded like a call-centre, caller had an Indian accent and said she was calling from 'Currys PC World' then asked me straight out 'can I ask you what mobile phone you are currently using? Samsung? iPhone' etc. I've never known Currys PC World to cold call with mobile phone offers so sounds potentially dangerous to me, possible data harvesting / phishing. Blocked.
I just received a fake eBay order confirmation for a laptop costing £856.95 that says to call this number if you did not place this order.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. DO NOT fall for this as the system he was offering is free under NHS for vulnerable.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Annoying. Have been phoning me for well over a year asking for Mrs Harvey. Have blocked number multiple times but obv have several different ones with corresponding numbers. Usually ask for number to be removed which usually follows being hung up on, today I was very verbal, surprisingly man stayed on line and apologised and said number would be removed. We will see! I did state it was harassment and I would call police next time.

The phone rang, but nobody spoke when I picked it up.
SCAM message received 14/02/24 appearing in same text message thread that I receive from Lloyds Bank. It provides a one-time passcode for a purchase that I had not made to FENDI LTD. It tells me to contact them on 03333392763 if I had NOT made the purchase. I did not call them, instead I contacted the fraud dept. of Lloyds Bank.
