This answered as HMRC, but when I challenged them for authenticity, they put the phone down!
TAXES / HMRC States that an arrest warrant has been issued in your name due to avoidance of taxes etc.. I believe this to be a scam call, which I am totally sick to the back teeth of. Number has been blocked on several occasions but somehow manages to get back through.

Had 3 calls from this number this morning. Recorded message saying illegal activity had been detected on my internet connection and it would be terminated within 24 -48 hours unless I pressed 1 to speak to an adviser. Clearly a scam.
Asked if I had a life insurance policy and called me rude when I asked him which company he was calling from. Then he called me "mate"

I didn t recognise the number so I didn t answer. Quite probably it was Anglian because they have called many times before
