Scammer who pretends to be calling from microsoft windows. Claims to call from Leicester and is attempting to phish information by getting your I.P code. Will attempt to access your information. As soon as he calls best just to hang up.
No-one there when I answered so suspect it was one of those automated diallers.

Claimed they were BT and said they knew we were having issues with nuisance calls. Asked if I was Mr Benjamin which is not my name. I answered no, and they hung up immefiately. Caller sounded Indian from call centre with voices in background.

This is a scam where they pretend to be BT and will give you te above number to call with an id code to verify their authenticity. They tell you they want to shut down your Broadband for 5 days due to errors - blah blah. Probably after they will try to get access to your pc in some way. Don t know cos I crashed out and phoned BT who said it was a scam.
