Text claiming to be E.ON Next indicating that I’d maybe forgotten to pay my energy bill of nearly £1,500!! Odd because I’m on DD. And in credit. Definitely a scam.

Phoned said my name then said its your bank we need to veryfi unusual activity on your bank account, give me your full name, address date of birth. I said NO, he insisted and I said NO, you have phoned me I don't know who you are he then hung up. I contacted my bank immediately and it was not one of their phone numbers.

01514561897. A Pakistani accent man claimed he wanted to do a survey on behalf of councils and housing associations.

02081521989 This person called pretending to be a computer and telephone engineer. He wanted to check my broadband speed and land line connections. He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. I contacted my provider for landline and computer broadband and they are convinced that this is a “Scam"

They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. I started asking questions and it became more and more evident it is a scam.
