As soon as I dial this number a voice comes on to say that this number cannot be connected followed by another voice that says that calls are not being answered by this number - please try later. I used this number successfully last week but this week it has not been answered at all. I am calling believing it to be Natwest

I called the number someone called Tom answered and then hung up. I was then diverted to another number 01259 333 035 in Alloa, Scotland. This 2nd number had called me yesterday too. It seems suspicious.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

Although the number is a London number it would appear it is redirected from a foreign country as the language was not great and any question I asked was answered with a repeated line stating the deal they were offering and not actually answering my question.
