This shows an one-time password for a transaction of around £983 and asks me to urgently call this number (03309124638) if I do not recognise this transaction. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM! I have called HSBC (on their true number and not the fake number mentioned above) and they have confirmed what was obvious to me: THIS IS A SCAM. Your account is safe and has not been compromised. This call referred to an Amazon Card (which I don't have) and an international money transfer of £300. None of which is relevant. Sounds threatening. Have had this before but on a different number.

SCAM robo call saying that there has been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank they were, and that they were the 'fraud department'. They got angry so I called them out as the scammer they are and according to the scammer all UK people are idiots. Have reported it to action fraud.
