SCAM / SPAM Called once, immediately hangs up in the hope people will call back. Blocked loads of these numbers already. Once you get a call like this from one scammy nob-head company, they keep calling with new numbers in the hope that you react and call them back. Don't answer, Don't call back. Its usually a premuim rate scam that either has some kind of fax machine tone, or someone claiming to be someone they're not trying to keep you on the line for as long as possible whilst running up your phone bill

I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.

Got a call from a pleasant girl saying she was from "Energy Rescue" at EuroCentral in Motherwell. I took control of the call with lots of chit chat, asking how her day was, how many calls has she made, what was the company phone number, what was their address, had she been working long today etc. etc. etc. I now do this with all calls and it drives them nuts. Recorded message says it is PayPal and that they have noticed 2 payments this morning that I have made for large sums of money and to ring 1 ,2 etc if not me and 3 to listen to message again. I ignored it as was busy, just rang the number and spoke to a poor lady that said she has had several calls and she lives in Hull and it is obviously not her. She was very apologetic, not that it is her fault. Surely the Telephone service can stop this from happening.
