Automated call SCAM supposedly a bank security warning. I have had a spate of these from various numbers in the last few days, with the same female-voiced, automated message, warning of "suspicious" payments made from my bank to Amazon and international transfers. the usual "press 1" to acknowledge the message, "press 2" to speak to someone. blocked.
I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently - all the same 20346308xx range, probably the same marketing company? I don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... People please did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?

Received a call from this number today on my mobile. As I don't know it, I didn't answer. I looked up the area code and found out it is a Coventry number. Again I don't know anyone in Coventry. I decided to ring them on my house phone using the prefix of 1

They called me and I didn't pick up the phone as I usually ignore unknown calls - they then sent me a text saying they're the HSBC Fraud Prevention team and asked me to call back. Was a bit suspicious so I called the number on the back of my card instead. Yep to all who are not sure whether this number is a scam or not - just call the number on the back of your card and they will transfer you to the team, you don't have guess whether the call is legit or not then.
