Got a call from this number they wanted me to do a survey!!!!
I tried to book a room at The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS, Oxford and called a number 08448542910 indicated on their website. I had to call twice as there was an automated telephone service and no one was able to answer my phone calls. Last month I saw a charge of 1.38 GBP plus VAT on my phone bill!! What a wrong way to make money!! Looks like the hotel is doing that badly so they have to charge potential customers to simply book a room. According to the reviews on the above number

SCAM - the 3rd such similar text in as many days from different numbers. All had a link to a website that no doubt requests your bank details. In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.
Rang me twice but didn t pick up as I was driving. No voicemail left
I had a Call earlier and no-one spoke so I hung up then added them to the Voicemail List on my Phone, but then they managed to Call again! Maybe my Phone can t take so many contacts which go to Voicemail, and I don t use Voicemail.
Beware this is a scam. Its purpose is to trick you into entering the website and making a false payment. Steals bank account details. Ignore the message
