This number phoned and a recorded message stated that it was my bank asking to verify that 2 payments made today were genuine and if not to press 1 to speak to a member of the fraud team. No name of bank given so I suspect it to be a scam.
This number called at 14:43 today. No message was left and as far as I am concerned people who can't be bothered to leave a message are probably up to no good - so SCAM?

The above number texted me today claiming they are Amazon and that there had been an attempt from IP address:42.344.91.27 to login my account.
Call had all the characteristics of fraud dressed up as a survey.
Had a call from this number and automated message indicated my bank card was to be debited and I needed to call back to authorise. Probably a complete scam

Was bored and made up some data, they they pass you to someone who tries to sell you a policy. They quote the FCA many times - but when pushed confirm they are not regulated by them. The caller reports to be from Microsoft and suggest your PC is vulnerable requiring an update. The call is protracted and the caller goes into lots of detail leaving you with the feeling that you have a problem. The caller indicates they can help with the update if they can take control of your laptop .... I stopped at that point.
