I keep getting calls from this number:- +441616673230. Typically, they ring off before I can answer. I ve tried ringing back and a recorded message tells me "not to worry" and that they will call me again later. There are three Google pages about this number and no-one knows any more than I do!

I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. This is a survey on behalf of crisis homeless charity. Seemed genuine to me, they do not ask for any personal details except your address to send you a £5 love to shop voucher as a thank you for participating in their survey (but you do not have to give them any personal information whatsoever if you wish to remain anonymous)

Pushy mobile phone sales call and would not go away even after I made it clear that I wasn t interested in up-grading or changing contracts. In the end I had to just hang up. These calls are always a worry as they may phone my mum or elderly neighbours.
HMRC scammers calling, claiming that people owe tax money and will be arrested. Threatening voice but ludicrous message. Do not press 1 - just hang up and get on with your day.
