I got a call from this number saying they from Curry pc world. They are giving unnatural offers on phones and sim cards. Too good to be true. I didn't go forward with the offer but I believe its a scam.

SCAM Caller said that they were from Curry's PC world. I knew it was a scam call and told the caller I wasn't interested and ended the call. If they were a genuine caller then they would have known that Curry's PC world no longer exists as it's now known as just Curry's. I checked the number and it actually belongs to Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe in Stirling, Scotland.

They were wanting me to confirm that I was the council or housing association tenant and to discuss paying for repairs/damages. Addressed me by my first name. This was the second call of this nature I had had, albeit from a different number, of the same nature in less than 1/2 hour. I believe it was the same company who had ignored my initial request to remove my number from their list.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
