SCAM recorded voice claims the call is from BT Internet to say that there has been suspicious activity on my account. Invites me to press 1 to talk "To an Executive to resolve the issue". I waited until the caller hung up. Cannot find area code 0119. This is clearly a scam to lead me into a conversation with a fraudster. How are these people obtaining "UK numbers" from BT? Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.

SCAM Called to tell me my internet was slow and they would fix it. They tried to send me to a website to fix it but when I asked if I could have a number to call them back to make sure they were legit they hung up. They then called back to ask when was a convenient time to call me and I restated I wanted to call them and they hung up again. The second time the call came from 01483828426.

SCAM of some kind - this person says her name is Olivia and has called 10 times over the last few days. Says she's calling from Virgin Media Technical department, when challenged she hangs up. Originally asked me to give information on my internet and how many devices I own.

Said she was calling from microsoft about my computer being hacked. She wanted me to do something on my computer according to her instruction! YEAH RIGHT!! That was not gonna happen! When I asked her some questions she just hang up on me. This person is for sure trying to cheet you so just hang up if she calls (or he like the comment before).

Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.
