This is not a scam I have covers for all my electricals,this is from homeshield direct and I also have paperwork and I recently phoned them to replace my washing machine as it broke down and had someone come out to look at it and few weeks later had a new washing machine.had to pay extra for delivery and old washing machine removal

Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.

Claims they are from some housing association what to know if there is damage to your property. When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged. I said they don't even know if my property privately owned. Then they hanged up.
This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. I know ut won't do any good but I must be annoying them and stopping them catching anyone else out.

Fraud Phone company is investigating this number based in Yorkshire as they found it was linked to my pay monthly account. So knew my personal details and set up a new line! I only found out about it due to a different investigation regarding “crossed lines” or someone basically listening in on my calls! Not only were they listening to calls but seemed to know who I was, this by quoting my full name before the call connected. I ONLY ever phone anonymously! ...we shall see...
