I got a phone call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. (Indian call handler) They said my computer was compromised but I don’t own a computer so knew it was a scam. I kept talking to them to waste their time and then eventually told them I’d be reporting them to police. She tried to convince me still they were legitimate. When I told her I knew it was scam and I didn’t have computer she lost her temper and started cursing at me insulting me and then ended call

SCAM PayPal request for £799.77 stating the money had been sent and to call this number - the email may be from PayPal but the notes on the request certainly aren’t.

Just has a call from this number stating that is was from the finance department of ******* (did not wait to hear any more as must be a scam). If from a the finance department of a VALID company, would write to you id any problems, NOT phone. Blocked at once.

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. Got a call from this number and when i answered it the phone went dead , looks like on these scam sites who use a computer to call numbers and if you answer they keep a record and then later on call you to sell you insurance etc.

01376310542 called 31 May 22 at 08:27 hrs silent call again! Second call in 30 mins prev was 02897536536, same result AND, this is following a familiar pattern,. Withheld number called at 08:50 Also silent call HARASSING is the polite classification!

HMRC recorded message saying I was going to be prosecuted shortly!

SCAM Call center Purported to be from British Gas. I had difficulty understanding what he was trying to tell me because of a strong accent, but he was suggesting a problem with my boiler thermostat? Then went on to talk about a maintenance contract to cover the boiler, radiators and electrical supply. I queried several times about his genuine employment by British Gas and he finally hung up the phone.

This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.
