Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.
SCAM says his name is Michael although spoke with a foreign voice. Said not interested and hung up but he rang back 3 times.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Missed call, left no vm, no msg, nothing to ID themselves, usually means something crooked these days. Don't know anyone in Manchester, would not have answered it anyway. Blocking this no. & reporting it to provider, etc., or anyone who will take note, if u do that every time for every nuisance/phishing call, it mostly stops for a while at least. Beware, stay safe.

SCAM 2 calls so far, get quite a few scam calls from Scotland so tend not to answer any of them.

07944341914 called 27 Jan 23 at 12:28 hrs. Female recorded voice claimed to be calling from Amazon about an order I'd placed for an iPhone......which I had not. The presentation and topic was very similar to a scam call a few years ago, Hung up.
This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. Report and block their numbers, they don't turn up either.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel
