Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. We received a call from 0141 555 4854 with a recorded message telling us of unauthorised transactions on our card? One was £300 for Amazon and then £1, something (I lost the will at this time). I could press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to the team. I have hung up ad blocked the number.but I know they can change the number to show anything they like. Why or why are the authorities not doing more to catch these scumbags.

I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022545 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?

SCAM A gentleman rang and claimed he was from microsoft, he said we had been sent 14 messages that we ignored to say we had been hacked so he was ringing to help. wanted us to sign into our computer while he stayed on the phone so he could help fix it if we followed his instructions. He was persistent, pushy and annoying. We did not comply with his request so he said he would block our computer. While he was on the phone I ran Microsoft helpline, they assured us we have no issues with our account and no m
