This was a Bt internet scam call.

Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. SCAM - Male - Indian, asked for me by name, advised recent bank payment had been overpaid & I could get money refunded. He then gave my correct address & asked me to confirm this was correct. Told him this was excitinging news - I have someone with me at the moment, give me your number & I ll call you back. He hung up immediately.
