Text scam using a Santander debit card transaction as a front.
Missed call no message
Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

Woman claiming to be called 'Daisy' calling from the diesel emissions team. Asking for someone called Ray Shell. She had an Indian accent and promptly hung up when advised there is no such person as Ray Shell on this number.
I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.
This number called me on my tablet!? NO-ONE has the number for this, so this HAS to be a random dialler.
No one there, said hello a few times but no one spoke then they hung up.
