Fraud !, claimed to be inland revenue saying I was being convicted of tax fraud and to press 1 to prevent an arrest warrant being issued I my name

Fraud, pretending to be BT and threatening to disconnect landline & broadband.

Have had 3 text messages in 4 hours from this number so suspect it is not genuine. It is worrying though as people who bank with Halifax could easily have pressed link

times today, same as other reports.

SCAM - Indian accent, claimed to be calling from Aveva car insurance. I don't own a car.

SCAM They referred to the national "Renewable Energy Database" and hung up on me when I questioned how they had information about my loft insulation when I have never told anyone! The Database exists but it does NOT have this information. It is for tracking "the progress of UK renewable electricity projects over 150kW through the planning system".

This number called today as a recorded message stating they were banking security and that £330 bill from Amazon and a£1300 money transfer from my bank account which is unusual was taken please press 1 with your banking details. NO ITS A FISHING NUMBER WHEN YOU ARE CALLED

SCAM received several phone calls via WhatsApp demanding payment for providing a service befor anything would be done. Lady admitted was of German origin and was ringing from Bournemouth. Payment was to be via PayPal or Amazon gift cards only, on refusal became more aggressive.

Received a call this morning.I never answer calls coming from any 0843 numbers.Think about it folks!! Calls from numbers with an 0843 prefix are only used by companies, and are chargeable,sometimes at very expensive rates. Mail order, catalogue companies and utility companies etc etc and SCAM ARTISTS the list is endless. All Use 0843 prefix. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036346xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with direct marketing, insurance marketing, accident claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
