Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn't had an accident, she hung up on me.
I wasn't sure whether the call was for real (even though i had previously received ed a text to say i would be getting a call from Santander) but once i gave my security answers (name and address) the lady asked if i knew what a certain transaction was for

The man on the other end sounded as though he was from India. He said he was our internet provider and that we had been hacked and people were using our system. Sounded plausible ( I don't think) I am aware of these scams. When asked you he worked for he said BT it was by when I said we don't have BT but he said he worked for all the big companies i.e. Talk talk.
