Got a message about an apprenticeship I recently applied for, they said they "need to carry out a short the phone call" in order to progress. Call received 14.30 on 17/4/2023. Recorded message purporting to come from a bank fraud prevention team (no bank named) alleging that two suspicious requests had been received for payments from "your account" (no account details given). No evidence of unexpected activity in my accounts. SPAM.
1 missed call from this number and a couple from a private number a few minutes later. I never respond to these unknown and unexpected calls. Anyone who knows me knows I'd never answer.

Scammers pretending to be from my mobile company wanting to offer me a new deal then wanted my bank details & details about phone account but could not even provide my name from their records. Avoid at all costs.
As with others, been called daily for the last week..answer but phone just goes dead. Do they want us to call back - ie premium/extortionate rate number?? Dont know but wont be calling them!! Time wasters - but no doubt some kind of scam…..
