Incoming call purporting to be from VISA saying money had been taken out of my account and transferred to an international gambling organisation. This is a scam.

Claimed to be from Currys PC World , sounds more to me like a foreign call centre. This was an unsolicited call, believe it is a scam call - to be avoided at all costs

Obvious scam caller claiming to be from EE (I don't have an EE account). The minute I queried why they had rung they cut off the call.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

Message left on answerphone saying subscription for my amazon prime account was about to be paid from my bank. I dont have a prime account! Beware!

This number tried to call me twice. I don’t know who they are. I did not answer the first time, the second time I made my boyfriend answer and they hung up on him as soon as he said hello. I then messaged them saying “who is this?” They responded at midnight saying “He’ll be there in the morning to meet you, code on the gate is the same. Get to bed!” I blocked their number as soon as they sent that message. It has really freaked me out and I’m scared that someone is going to come to my house.

Lady with Indian accent claiming to be from "The Phone House Company" and wanting to upgrade me to a new iPhone 11. I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Fraud. Will firstly state on an automated voice it’s from HM revenue and they’re going to take action against you. Press 1 to speak to an officer etc.. foreign guy picks up asking how he can help, state they called me? And then they hang up. Absolutely fraud!

SCAM- two scouse women claiming to be peoples daughters that have “smashed their phone” will text of one number then call off another.

Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.

SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.
