Called and left no message. The location of this number is identical to a series of similar numbers so it looks like a call centre using new numbers when the earlier number has been blocked.

Company called Red Star regarding PPI Called me several times without leaving any message so I phoned back.

Caller said they wanted to ask how I was getting on with new mobile - odd as I have had this one for nearly 18 months! I asked where they had got my number from - they kept repeating they obtained data from market research - I said that was not enough & asked to speak to their supervisor - they put phone down.

Sony Mobile Repair centre - left me a voicemail - my phone is in for repairs so this seems like a genuine number. Waiting for the email confirmation.

I filled in a Saga online form for a health cover quote. This telephone number rang me within 5 minutes of filling in the form. As I didn t recognise the number, I didn t answer the call. I then searched and found out that it s a telemarketing call on behalf of Saga. I do not wish to be contacted this quickly, I would prefer to receive their email with my quote and then consider it in my own time.

I checked with Virgin after readin Peters comments and they told me it was not a premium rate call .. it was a local rate .. I had a county court bailiff attend my premises and this telephone number was also on the paperwork I was given !! :(

This number is unallocated so the call was definitely a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER RETURN A CALL to an unknown...
