SCAM - I believe this number to be part of a convincing scam! Caller claimed to be from 'Motor Assess' regarding a recent accident. Interestingly I had a minor touch in my car yesterday and exchanged insurance details, so I thought was related, but the individual I was speaking to didn't quite seem convincing and couldn't give me any details, I googled 'motor assess' whilst speaking to him, with no trace of the company! The person I was talking to was persuasive and persistent!
some kind of medical company asking about recent falls and accidents. I hung up.
Fraud Asian lady telling me our internet was compromised. Lying -as detail she divulged re: ISP incorrect. Challenged. She continued spiel, challenged again. Stated "you do not have a problem" and hung up!

Received a call today from "Martin" who claimed to be from TPS, confirmed my phone number (which he rang to), my name and address and then asked me to confirm my expiry date for credit/debit card - when posed the question "why" he needed to know financial details for a free service, he suggested It was for verification purposes - I declined and asked from which company he was calling, at which point the phone went dead - SCUM!

A female voice claiming to be from Microsoft went through a rigmarole of getting the Event Viewer up. I disconnected from the internet and obeyed. She then tried to tell me that these messages were all about hacker activity on my computer, then asked me to use Run to load Internet Explorer, which I do not have on this computer and I relayed the message "Windows cannot find iexplore". I received email regarding delayed deliver on 2 consecutive days. Didn t call as something felt wrong. 6 days later I thought I d google the number and as it transpires it s a cost trap. Don t phone it. If there s genuine reason, a company will always get back back in touch.

They called me today and asked for me by my first name to sell me a life insurance policy. When I asked them where did you get my contact details, they answered that it was from their search engine as I expressed my interest in such a policy in the past. I challenged them that I did t supply my information to be called for a life insurance product then she asked me if I have a family and how old I am. I declined to answer and then ended the call.
