SCAM Purporting to be from our internet provider, saying they have attempted to contact us several times without success. They ask you to press 1 to speak with a manager! Do not press 1, total scam & the line will stay engaged if you hang up until the automation has gone fully through its spiel.

SCAM Someone passing themselves off as Business Energy Direct. It certainly isn’t them, they are based in Rotherham which is an 01709 number and none of their staff are Asian so don’t have Asian accents.

I got a recorded message from a "crime agency" (?) saying my national insurance number has been suspended and to call back to avoid having my assets affected! lol!
i get called from number 01204329378 on a daily basis i get called from other numbers too, i dont know who they are because with these calls i usually check first on the internet to see what others have said when they have answered them and if they say its to do with selling, harrasment or scams i dont bother to answer it the next time they call more than once a day very annoying

SCAM - Left message about being Fraud Department at HMRC. (Should have listened to VM first!) Called back and odd ring like overseas dialtone, answered immediately by an indian sounding man who said he was inspector someone from HMRC fraud and criminal investigations dept, he asked for my name and address and kept me on hold. when I questioned what dept again he read off a London address, and said "In the UK" Hung up immediately. Probably cost me a fortune! PEST AND SCAMMERS, STAY AWAY!!

Received a call but didn’t connect upon answering the call. Also received a call a couple of hours earlier from 02119768666 with a recorded message indicating that the Internet will be disconnected due to illegal activity and to press 1 to speak to someone. Potential scams ?
Recorded voice sais was " your bank", checking for a payment abroad and asking to press 1. I pressed nothing and the call cut.

I decided to answer the call as I'd had numerous from similar numbers. English male voice who knew my name & address and said it's about my Hotpoint washing machine warranty that's about to expire. Unusual noises coming from the other end when called back, sounded like random chimes down the line, phone answered the call IMMEDIATELY, suspect it's a bot
had a missed call so checked the number. turns out to be somebody saying they are mostly from the DWP, they seem to want to offer you options to access your pension etc. they obviously are NOT the DWP.
