I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. I don't type or do anything but an English automated voice comes on says "sorry I didn't get that", this repeats indefinitely.. pretty sus for a number that's meant to be the counsel. Fraud SPAM SCAM Number text me as a wrong number looking for Carolyn, when i replied wrong number, they apologised and asked for my name so they could add me to their address book so it wouldn't happen again. There have been 22 checks on this number in 2 days, it screams phishing for information that will be used for scams or fraud in the future.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

Gentlemen was hard to understand (South Asian accent) and was hard to understand. Also quite pushy. Probably just SPAM but could also be SCAM

Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.

Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. I would describe the noise as though he was calling me from a very busy PUB. I told the caller this and hung up. No attempt was made to call me back. SCAM

Claimed to be from credit card fraud department. Automated message saying a charge of over one hundred pounds has been made on my card from Amazon, also a foreign transaction of over one thousand pounds. Asked me to press buttons to authorise or talk to an advisor. Total scam.

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. When they finally accepted that I wasn't interested, they abruptly hung up. Block this number!

My credit card issuer informed me that a fraudster tried to change my number to this one. Presumably to get OTP sent to them, not me
