Indian Call Centre rings and says FROM windows Microsoft. Saying your computer has a virus and wanting you to give control of your PC to them. Double bad they want money delete the virus as well to download viruses to your pc.
Missed call from this number on new tablet, not being used for voice calls, no message left, so just deleted.

I have no connection with the area or tel no. I did return an item to a company in Cheshire some time ago apart from that it is mystifying.

Advert on Face Book so I thought it was a good idea to plan for the future to protect my family. However, after I had filled it in, this number called and were so unprofessional I didn t think they were genuine. Tried to block the number on my phone but my handset won t let me. He is a scammer, a fraud. He used someone else s passport to rent a room, took 600GBP as security and ran away.
SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.
I was threatened that if i didn t answer the questions i would receive up to 700 calls per day! Don t answer!

This idiot tried to con me out of some stupid amount for Amazon prime, something I have never had. Unfortunately my husband answered the phone and is more kind to the conners than me. As far as I am concerned all phone callers are potential con artist so I very rarely answer my phone these days. Perhaps if they worked in a decent job for a living they might not be as disgusting, but what do i know.

This IS the number of ONE of the CSA/CMS offices.. there are several across the UK, including Northern Ireland. They cannot specify husband s details in case he has re-married for example.. Data protection act doesn t allow for mistakes.. DWP means Department of Works & Pensions (for those in the dark)
Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.
