When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged. I said they don't even know if my property privately owned. Then they hanged up.

Difficult to hold a sensible conversation, transpired person wanted to make a case for selling wall and roof insulation. Scam Number... When answered, you hear the "hiccup" meaning you were on an Autodialer and because you've answered, the "hiccup" sound is where the computer is connecting a scam agent. Personally, any call I hear that sound, I hang up, search the number and 9 out of 10 times (9/10) end up Barring the Number. Hope this helps.

Fraud Rating 4: it's an automated line claiming to be from credit card security (no card company named) about two transactions not placed on my card before £300 Amazon and £1100 on international transfer, says if you did not make these transactions press 1... I just hung up
Already blocked this number today and still they get through. Why is nothing done about these harassing people. They are a nuisance.

Fraud : An automated message claiming to be from HMRC and claiming to be initiating legal action against me. An Indian accented call centre worker then asked how she could help me and I spoke briefly before she told me to shut up 3 times and ended the call.
