Automated caller with female voice claiming charges made to VISA account, one of around £700 and another of £900 from earlier in the day. Prompts the caller to press '1' to cancel the charges. Would appear to be a scam and would strongly recommend not pressing 1 and hanging up and blocking the number,

Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. Other numbers that called to same extent were 01330 560922 and 01689 814765, both equally as perplexing.

"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. The guy introduced himself Peter Jones calling from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd. trying to sell personal loan. it was suspicious. checked with FCA, I've been told that they are impersonating businesses and personal names. Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company and they are only mortgage broker not selling or offering personal loans. beware this landline number is a scam. personal loan only offered by banks directly.
This number relates to an investment scam called GFA capital. They get you to deposit a small amount of money ($275) and they claim they invest it in crypto and produce huge results. In 5 days my $275 grew to $75000. WOW Then one of their senior investment managers calls you and shows you a bitcoin opportunity, invest $18000 and they will produce a $10000 return in 5 days. BULLSHIT. I requested a withdrawal from my pot and was told that I had to pay £12000 tax to release the funds. Dangerous scam
