Banking Suggested I had been debited with large sums of money from my bank account. Not true - scam call

Full handset displayed number 000918045705737. Claimed my debit card had been hacked and debited £600. Provided options 1 or 2 to pursue further. I rang off and checked bank account. No sign of transaction. Scam till proved otherwise.

SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Recieved call from this number on my work phone. I am a building manager located in Auckland, New Zealand and have nothing to do with the locality it is based in. Going by past experience calls to my work phone from overseas numbers are always scams, didn't answer and having looked on this website it appears I was correct.

SPAM was called from London by an Indian man who insisted he was my network provider and then asked who was? I wouldn't tell him so he again insisted he was my O2 network provider to which I replied "no you're not!" he hung up, have now blocked this number
