I received a text regarding suspicious activity on my Halifax credit card. I was asked to call this number. Instead I visited the local branch of Halifax and they confirmed it was their fraud team. A genuine number.
woman presented herself as a google support partner and offered help getting google maps listing set up properly. I didn't entertain the call...
The above no. is for a premium line purporting to be BT, I contacted BT who confirmed it was a scam, problem is how did they know I reported a land line fault to BT in the first place? and I have never given my mobile no. to BT.
